About the Qianhai Guangdong-Hongkong-Macao-Taiwan Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition
Ever since the first Qianhai Guangdong-Hongkong-Macao-Taiwan Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held in 2016, the cumulative number of competing projects has reached 6,000, where the quality of projects has also been continuously improving, making the roadshow more competivie and intense as ever. This year's competition has reached a record high number of participating projects, attracting over 1,400 teams from Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, amongst which 700 teams hail from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. The projects cover six major areas, including electronics and IT, AI, Big Data, IoT & Cloud, biotech, and advanced manufacturing. In addition to the active participation of young people from Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, the teams also include academicians, professors from well-known universities from the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada. The competition also servces as a platform for cooperation and exchange. Entrepreneurs who gather at Qianhai take the opportunity to network during the competition. At the same time, many projects have attracted attention from investors.
