    The LiDar being located on top of the vehicle, is close to the human ear, making its motor noise all the more conspicuous.

  • Method of Evaluation:

    Using RoMA for the acoustical measurements of the pertinent LiDar in an anechoic box, telling frequency components in the motor noise are identified, and physical and perceptual characteristics quantified, to guide the improvement and optimization of motor design.
