Wind Turbine Gearboxes Qualification and Outgoing Test - Performance Testing

  • Test Object:

    Wind Turbine Gearboxes
  • Application Scenario:

    Qualification and Outgoing Test
  • Challenges:

    • Wind turbine gearboxes are often complex and bulky in structure. Two gearboxes are tested simultaneously on a back-to-back test rig implicating a large number of measurement points.
    • These sort of tests would normally have to run several hours, continuously, and without interruptions.
  • Method of Evaluation:

    • SigMA-LT features optimized algorithms for real-time analysis, enabling parallel data processing, as well as continuous data acquisition, real-time analysis and evaluation of up to 20 measurement points over long periods of time.
    • Through order analysis, the vibration and noise of planetary gears, bearings, pumps and other components inside the gearbox could be identified, and the differences between two gearboxes could also be compared and analyzed.
